We only send marketing messages in line with the Spam Act 2003. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link, or you can ask us to stop by contacting support@kuulchairs.com.
Order, delivery and warranty messages are not marketing and will still be sent while your order or claim is active.
The “Ask Anything” assistant is powered by OpenAI. When you send a message, it is transmitted to OpenAI with up to 20 earlier messages from the same conversation, so the assistant can reply in context.
KUUL does not keep a separate database of chat conversations. Your conversation is saved in your browser for the current tab session and clears when you close it.
OpenAI may retain messages for up to 30 days for safety and abuse monitoring, in line with its API policies.
Don’t share payment details, passwords or sensitive health information in the chat. For anything about a specific order, contact our team directly.
Some of our providers store or process personal information outside Australia, mainly in the United States. This includes Shopify, Vercel, Google, OpenAI and Resend.
Other providers may process information in other countries where they or their sub-processors operate.
We choose established providers and take reasonable steps to ensure they handle personal information in a way consistent with the Australian Privacy Principles.
We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access, including using reputable providers with secure, encrypted connections.
No online service is completely secure. If a data breach is likely to cause you serious harm, we will notify you and the regulator as required by law.
We keep order and warranty records for at least the length of your warranty, and financial records for as long as tax law requires, usually five years.
We delete or de-identify personal information when we no longer need it.
You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct it, by emailing support@kuulchairs.com. We will respond within 30 days.
You can also ask us to delete your information, unless we need to keep it for legal or warranty reasons.
If you have a privacy concern, please contact us first. We will investigate and reply within 30 days.
